Wedding! | Taylor & Branden | Downtown Kalamazoo ; Backyard Wedding

COVID-19 Kalamazoo backyard wedding

Imagine changing all your wedding plans thanks to new Covid-19 related Executive Orders, your venue being difficult to work with, your family and friends stepping it UP in every way possible to make your wedding day happen, and the day still looking this good?!?! Yes, it is possible. In less than 3 weeks, Taylor and Branden went from a complete plan, to everything needing to be changed, and finally, to their Kalamazoo backyard wedding.

However, when you have the kind of support that Taylor and Branden did, you would never have known. A gorgeous arch that Park Place Design decorated, a view of downtown Kalamazoo at Heritage Hall on Western Michigan University’s campus, and people who were ready to party were just a few elements that made this wedding so wonderful!

As we changed around their timeline, Taylor suggested Heritage Hall for their first look. I loved it because it gave them a similar view of downtown Kalamazoo that they were going to originally have. Branden admitted to being a little nervous, but excited to see Taylor finally in her wedding dress and I think you’ll be able to figure out that his wait was well worth it as she was STUNNING!!!!

There were so many sweet moments to their wedding day from the sand ceremony with Aubree to their officiant accidentally saying that Branden was going to be Taylor’s wife to watching them dance in their backyard under the lights. I could go on and on about how much fun I had photographing this Kalamazoo backyard wedding day but you’ll just have to see it in the photos!

Congrats again Taylor & Branden!
