As I was driving to Riven Dell Venue for Hannah & Alex’s wedding, I knew that it was going to be an extraordinarily special day. This gorgeous, incredibly in-love couple met a few years ago through a simple Facebook message. Later, they were planning a sweet, intimate country wedding shared between themselves, close family and friends. Walking in, I couldn’t help but notice the how relaxed everyone was right away as their hair and makeup was already done with the entire day scheduled to be ahead of schedule and without a lot of stress.
I actually think Hannah might have summed it all up best when she spoke about how the number 8 is considered one of the luckiest numbers in numerology and often corresponds with success and abundance. Like the success of a wonderful wedding day pulled off during a global pandemic and the abundance of love and laughter that I saw throughout the entire wedding day! If you look at it, an “8” is also literally an infinity symbol turned upright, which speaks to its unlimited potential.
It also seemed like the cosmos understood just how important of a day this was as the weather was perfect, Hannah was stunning in her Patty’s Bridal Shoppe gown, and I even captured Alex shedding a tear or two.
I find that one of the best things about smaller weddings is that they lend themselves to especially tender moments. Like Hannah crying as she walked down the aisle, Alex’s grandfather giving an unprepared, yet heartfelt speech, people killing it on the dance floor thanks to OD Entertainment keeping the party going, and the 4 sisters standing next to Hannah & Alex as their wedding party. These weddings also somehow feel a little more at ease, and that’s exactly what the vibe was on this beautiful day in August. I’ll leave you with a *few* more of my favorite moments from this intimate country wedding, and with a big congrats to the newlyweds! Be sure to check out the vendors at the end as well!
