Vale Street Venue Wedding | Courtney & Adam

Vale Street Venue Wedding

After having photographed Taylor & Branden’s wedding back in 2020, I knew that Courtney & Adam were going to have a PAR-TAY! What I didn’t realize was that they would have every detail thought of, the best hashtag, and a hidden gem of a venue! Welcome to their Vale Street Venue wedding day!!!!

Like I said, entering the day, this venue might not look like a lot to the naked eye but when you enter and see this amazing reception space right away, you know it’ll be special. I walked down to the bridal suite to find Courtney and her bridesmaids plus her mother-in-law, Karen getting their hair and makeup done in the usual flurry and chaos that is any bridal suite. It’s always in that moment where you can see any bride a little anxious as the day is filled with music and anticipation.

That anticipation has to do with the weather looking weird, me arriving to get all of your details like their gorgeous invitations made by The Printed Event and jewelry from Olive & Piper, and the buzz of people moving all around you while you have to stay stationary to get your hair & makeup done.

As the day moved ahead and the rain looked like it would clear, I heard the decision to keep the ceremony outside and I was thrilled! From there, it was all about bringing special people together like having Courtney’s mom, sister, and grandma there to help her get into her dress and make sure she was even more flawless than she is on any average day and then Courtney’s dad had his own moment to see her first where I saw a few tears of joy. Then Adam & Courtney shared a private First Look with one another and had a moment for the kids to get letters and wedding gifts!

I almost cried then but I had to hold in the tears to get the photos. I definitely cried editing this blog because man oh man was it just moment after beautiful moment for them!

After we got all of the wedding party portraits it was time for these two to walk down the aisle. Another of Courtney’s grandmas was the officiant and she delivered perfectly timed jokes, heartfelt reassurance, and necessary wisdom for these two lovebirds. The Jackson 7 became official at that moment and they were met with loud cheering from the crowd who were excited for this new chapter!

From then on, the kids and the newlyweds celebrated the night away with all of their family & friends! Did I mention this reception space is beautiful? No? Well, it IS! It was the ideal place for toasting, champagne pouring, and of course, getting DOWN on that dance floor! My 2nd shooter, Megan, and I had a lot of fun seeing all of those dance moves and I hope you enjoy seeing a few of them here!

For now, congratulations you two, I hope you enjoy these previews of what your full Vale Street Venue wedding gallery will look like!
