Green Bay Wedding

As I was driving through Wisconsin for the first time in my adult life, I was thinking about my couple like I always do and what this day must mean for them. How they had been dating since high school and how much they’ve gone through life together. How I could sense their excitement with just a touch of nervousness that would disappear the moment they were together. And honestly, how much this Green Bay wedding day would bring me so much joy to photograph!

Meet Liz & Dustin, an extra adorable and giggly couple that found me on TikTok of all places! We began the day at Liz’s parents’ gorgeous property where Hunter, their family dog, and Dog of Honor, greeted me like the gracious host he was. I got to admire the florals from Lings Moment and their invitation suite that included photos from their Pictured Rocks Engagement session and I could sense the buzzing in the room of bridesmaids, parents, Dog of Honor, and of course, the bride who were ready to get to the venue to get this amazing day going!

Once at Olde 41, Liz & Dustin put on their final touches to their wedding dress and suit. They then had their First Look which allowed for a private moment for just the two of them…even if we did learn later that the bridesmaids were able to find a window to peek out! The point is that it was just the two of them in the moment.

Liz was also able to have a first look with her dad where he got a little teary-eyed and he wasn’t the only one! Dustin, his mom, and many others had some tears of joy glistening in their eyes as Liz walked down the aisle. Liz however looked nothing less than elated that this day was finally happening!

As with any ceremony, it feels surreal as couples make their vows to one another, and then, in the blink of an eye, they’re kissing and celebrating down the aisle! We got all of their family photos done in record time and moved on to the portraits with the wedding party and newlyweds before they entered their reception to guests who were ready to party with them all night long!!!

You might notice I included a photo where Dustin & Liz reenacted a rather famous photo of them on their “first date” to prom in high school…. You’ll recognize it when you see it but after Dustin’s sister spoke about it in her speech, it only seemed appropriate to show just how funny it is to look back on! This was one of many favorite moments of mine as it really displayed the way Liz & Dustin always find ways to laugh with one another.

I won’t spoil all of the surprises of the day because I know you’re already looking forward to scrolling through and reliving this wedding day so I’ll leave you with this, congratulations Liz & Dustin. May your life forever include the laughter and joy I captured on your wedding day!
