Pack your bags peeps because we’re headed to Southern California for this Mount Palomar Winery wedding! This past weekend I hopped on a plane to LAX (just kidding, San Diego but I might not ever be able to say that in a blog again so I’ve got to say it just once!). But anyway, I wanted to see what California could offer me, and boy oh boy (or should I say bride oh bride) did it not disappoint. I can easily see why Kadie and Allie love living here!

The brides chose Temecula, California at Mount Palomar Winery for their wedding day. It’s in the heart of wine country because they love good wine (duh), a breathtaking view of the mountains, and a place to gather all of their favorite people. The last point was especially necessary because you need to make sure you’re showcasing the best that your home has to offer as you gather people from across the United States to celebrate your wedding day. Mount Palomar provided it all!

If you saw their engagement blog, you might remember me saying that these two are the party starters, and trust me, you’ll see why as you scroll through the photos but I wanted to get a little more serious for a moment.

When I think of Kadie and Allie, I think of community. I think of gatherings. I think of people laughing together. I think of friendships that intertwine so that you can’t tell who is there for who necessarily because people just literally fit together. They fit together like puzzle pieces because that’s just how these two women walk through the world.

Heck, even Allie’s Dad, Steve talked about how you can really tell a lot about people when you see who they hang out with. It’s truly a direct reflection of themselves. As you scroll through the photos, you might notice that even I had a difficult time knowing who was on which bride’s side and I knew half of them!

So as you scroll through this beautiful, Mount Palomar Winery Wedding day, please note that while the mountains were beautiful, the wine was flowing freely, and I had so much fun photographing their wedding day, you should pay attention to how these two always found each other because they’re over the top in love. I can’t make a couple look like that, you just have to be totally obsessed with your love for that to show in photos and when it shines through even more than that California heat, it makes everything even more beautiful!
