Lincoln Park Chicago Engagement | Meg & Mike

Capturing Love in Lincoln Park Chicago Engagement

Hey there, fellow love enthusiasts! As a wedding photographer based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, I’ve been fortunate enough to capture love stories in various corners of the Midwest. Recently, I had the pleasure of venturing to the iconic Lincoln Park Nature Boardwalk in Chicago for Meg and Mike’s enchanting engagement session. Let me tell you, it was an absolute delight!

Meg and Mike, the stars of the show, radiated warmth and joy from the moment we met. They’re gearing up for their big day at the Garfield Park Conservatory right here in Chicago—a venue that promises to be nothing short of magical.

Now, let’s talk about Lincoln Park—it’s not just a location; it’s a vibe, a feeling, a quintessential Chicago staple. And boy, did we luck out with the weather! Picture this: a sunny March day boasting a balmy 60 degrees—a perfect backdrop for capturing love in all its glory.

From the get-go, Meg and Mike’s easygoing nature made the session a breeze. Their chemistry was palpable, and it translated beautifully into every frame I captured. Seriously, folks, these two were the epitome of adorable!

As we strolled through Lincoln Park, laughter filled the air, and love blossomed with every click of my camera. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do—capturing genuine connections and immortalizing them in photographs that tell a story.

Now, let’s talk about fueling up after a memorable photoshoot! Lincoln Park isn’t just known for its scenic views; it’s also a culinary haven. Here are a few eateries I would recommend to keep the celebration going if you decide to have your own engagement or photoshoot here!

  1. The J. Parker: Perched atop Hotel Lincoln, this rooftop bar offers stunning views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline—perfect for toasting to love and unforgettable moments.
  2. North Pond Restaurant: Nestled within the heart of Lincoln Park, this charming eatery boasts a seasonal menu featuring locally sourced ingredients. It’s the ideal spot for a romantic dinner date post-engagement session.
  3. Summer House Santa Monica: Step into a coastal oasis right in the heart of Chicago! This breezy restaurant serves up California-inspired cuisine with a laid-back vibe—a fitting choice for celebrating love and good company.

As I reflect on Meg and Mike’s engagement session, I’m filled with gratitude for being able to witness and capture such genuine love and joy. Here’s to love, laughter, and countless unforgettable moments ahead! Stay tuned for when I post their wedding blog!
