Crystal Mountain, Michigan Winter Wedding
What happens when two adventurers decide to get married? They choose a ski resort in Northern Michigan in the middle of January! Yes, Zach & Jayce chose a Crystal Mountain winter wedding which was the perfect place to bring everyone they loved around them to spend time celebrating and have fun in the snow!
From their many skiing trips, Zach actually proposed on one of those trips, and of course, owning the cutest husky ever who would love all things winter, a winter wedding seemed so fitting! These two love planning events, parties, and anything related to getting their favorite people around them so to everyone who was there, you should know how deeply special you are. Jayce & Zach emphasized many times that the people they invited were by far the greatest people they have ever known.
Just to lay out the scene a little bit more before you scroll through this wedding day, you should know that Crystal Mountain has its own natural elegance with crisp, white snow hitting the ground that made for the perfect backdrop for the ceremony, a cute little village filled with houses made for all travelers, and of course a mountain filled with skiers and snowboarders enjoying the slopes! Put this all together and mix it was a cute couple who are over the top in love with one another a bridal party open enough to follow me on my crazy idea of taking their photos in a parking lot and we created a bit of magic last Friday.
THAT is what I hope you’ll see as you scroll through today’s wedding blog, enjoy and I’ll interrupt a little along the way with some of my favorite moments! Oh and don’t forget to wish them congrats at the end!

We had just a small moment for Jayce & Zach’s First Look where I may or may not have instructed the rest of the wedding party to get ready on the shuttle so while they opened the drinks, Jayce & Zach got to have this moment all to themselves
And then we were able to travel around Crystal Mountain to find a few picture-perfect locations for more *almost* newlywed portraits!
Remember that parking lot I mentioned at the top of this blog? Well, this was it! It was worth it wasn’t it?!?!?!
Don’t worry, we then moved inside to warm up before the ceremony and just before it was time, Jayce’s dad got to see her for the first time that day! He might not admit this but I did see him shed a few tears!
From here, it was time to say “I do!”
And just like that, my part of the party was done but I can guarantee you this party didn’t end for a long time!
Congrats again Jayce & Zach! I’ll be in touch with your final gallery in a few weeks!
