October weather came hitting in full swing for Alyssa and Joe’s wedding day and while the day could have gone a million different ways, it was always going to be absolutely amazing because of these two! Their smiles were so abundant and really reverberated to and from everyone else around them! Alyssa and Joe are the perfect blend of fun-loving while making the most out of every moment! I’m so excited to share their South Haven Creations Wedding day with you!

I began the day seeing the drizzle outside while inside was buzzing with décor being setup, florals being placed, and I started to photograph their smaller details. The bridesmaids arrived to the venue and instantly poured the champagne for mimosas while the guys remained at the Airbnb nearby to get ready there.

After Alyssa and Joe got ready in their respective locations, Joe finally arrived to South Haven Creations and we were able to use the reception space for their first look. It allowed them to have a completely private moment while other gathered in the bar space. Having that moment for these two was so important and while Alyssa looked stunning from head to toe, I kept noticing that Joe was almost always looking at her face. It was like he couldn’t ever take his eyes away from her and that energy lasted throughout the day!

The rain let up just in time for their ceremony which was sort and sweet with just the right touch of unintentional humor. The bestest boy, Lambeau, was their ring bearer, the flowers ladies brought a show, the officiant gave us all a good laugh, and most importantly, these two became official!!!

After that fun, it was time to create something epic. With high winds, large waves, and the PERFECT clouds, we ventured to North Beach, South Haven for portraits with the full wedding party. These photos just make my heart explode with happiness and I hope you feel the same!

Once the beach portraits were done, it was time to get back to the fun. Alyssa and Joe had a grand entrance to their reception followed by their first dance as newlyweds. We were then entertained by the toasts before getting to the cake cutting and dancing!
