From the second I pulled into the parking area, the cozy charm of the cottage set the scene. But what you didn’t see right away was the magic unfolding in the backyard! A stunning white tent transformed the space, ready for guests to celebrate all night long. The chairs lined the path to a deck with deep sentimental roots – a place where many family members had gotten engaged, and now, for the first time, it was set to host a wedding. The perfect fall Saturday couldn’t have been more breathtaking.

I adored capturing the small, meaningful details, like the music box Lucas handcrafted complete with their first dance song. His talent didn’t stop there – he also made their ring box, and let’s not forget the custom beer, featuring the grinning faces of their beloved pups, Luna and Stella! Tory and her mom handpicked dahlias for the day, adding the perfect touch of elegance to everything.

As the day unfolded, the anticipation built. Tory and Lucas got ready separately, but first, Tory shared a beautiful first look with her dad. This was a moment that felt like a true blessing, as it was uncertain if this day would have happened just a year ago. The tears flowed as they embraced, savoring the weight of the day and the blessings that brought them here. Time seemed to stand still as they shared that sweet, emotional moment.

The anticipation built once more as Tory, with her father by her side, walked down the aisle to meet Lucas. The smiles between the couple were contagious, and the ceremony was a beautiful blend of their families. Each parent played a special role – from prayers to readings, even officiating! It all culminated in a kiss, a cheer, and a picture-perfect dip, while flower petals showered the newlyweds.

From there, the party was non-stop! The dance floor was electric, the toasts filled with laughter and tears, and it was hard to hold back emotions knowing Tory’s father not only got to be there for this day but was celebrating being in remission and his wife had been there every step of the way. The joy and celebration continued late into the night!
