Zealous, excitement, tears of joy, giddiness, blissful, gleeful, euphoric, happiness… does that describe Lexy & Will enough? I’m not sure I’ve ever met a couple more ready to be married, not just have a wedding day. Will looks at Lexy as though she is his whole world. Lexy looks at Will and sees their future full of love and family together. A truly beautiful wedding day and I hope that you enjoy seeing their City View Studio D2D wedding day!

As I began the day, I went to Lexy’s bridal suite and noticed that she was a ball of excitement. No extra caffeine needed. I started to photograph their details and did happen to glance a little at their vows because something about that day told me that those words were going to make a huge impact on the day. I didn’t realize how right I would be but that’s the joy of being a wedding photographer!

They exchanged gifts thanks to their best people delivering said gifts so as not to cross paths and then each got officially ready. It seemed to fly by in a blink until we used the City View loft for Lexy to take a moment with her dad and brothers to see her before Will. This is always something special to photograph but the emphasis on how important family is was made so apparent which again, would be spoken of in those beautiful vows I mentioned earlier! It was all coming round full circle!

My personal favorite moment came when it was time for Will & Lexy’s first look. Neither could contain themselves as they finally embraced, kissed, and said hello to THEIR person. You can always tell in these moments just how happy a couple is. It sets the momentum for every other second of the day.

From there, I enjoyed capturing portraits of just the two of them before the full wedding party and immediately family joined in. These people are just good people and made my heart happy to see how they support Lexy & Will.

Then it was the time for the big event, the event that gained so many tears, the whole room needed tissues. Their ceremony! It was beautiful as the light cascaded in from the windows and you could see that Lexy & Will couldn’t take their eyes off of one another. Actual, real, heartfelt vows. I loved them!

From the ceremony, the party really got going as the party bus took us to Riverside Park and then back for their Grand Entrance! I must say that while many brought it for their entrances, Ben and Amanda might have had the best one!

With the toasts, the formal dances, the reception was fun to capture as people were constantly able to chat with Lexy and Will, the dance floor was upbeat, and the drinks were flowing! Please join me in congratulating the two of them after you scroll through these previews of their wedding day!
