A Dreamy Bay Pointe Wedding: Lauren & Brandon’s Unforgettable Day

“…and I know this is just the beginning for us.” Those words from Lauren’s vows struck me, and they stuck for a reason. Even after 10 beautiful years together, she was right—this was a brand new chapter for her and Brandon. Their Bay Pointe wedding marked the start of officially being husband and wife, which was everything they both wanted. The day was filled with happy tears, belly-aching laughter, and love that poured from every moment.

The day kicked off with photographing all the special details—invites, rings, vow books—and let me tell you, holding those vow books felt like I was holding the world in my hands. They had chosen to share their vows privately during a first touch, and that decision made those little books feel extra heavy with meaning.

From the details, the getting-ready moments were in full swing. Brandon had a heartwarming first look with his mom, and Lauren? She had double the fun with first looks—first with her bridesmaids and then with her dad. Cue the happy tears!

But nothing quite compared to the emotional energy of their first touch. They stood just inches apart, sharing their vows with only each other, and let me tell you—it was one of the most beautiful moments I’ve ever witnessed. You could see how much they adored each other, and it was all leading to this day—the day they married their best friend, their forever person.

Then came the big moment—Lauren and Brandon finally seeing each other down the aisle. Lauren said that everything about the ceremony went by in a blur, but her favorite memory of the day? That dreamlike moment when she walked down the aisle to Brandon. And for him? He got a little choked up when he saw her walking toward him with her dad. Can you say heart-melting?

After a short and sweet ceremony, the celebration kicked into high gear with cocktail hour, family photos, and wedding party portraits. And then—surprise! The couple brought out MSU towels, which their guests swung around to get the party started. It was the perfect transition into an epic night of toasts, dancing, and some light-hearted jokes about Brandon’s hair back in the day! Their friends and family had nothing but glowing words to say about these two, reminiscing about their fun-filled youth and, most importantly, how much love Lauren and Brandon bring to their relationship and the people around them.
