Mary and Matt

Summer Wedding at Michigan Maritime Museum

A Nautical-Inspired Celebration on in South Haven

Some weddings feel like pure magic from the very start, and Mary and Matt’s Michigan Maritime Museum wedding was one of those days. With the warmest weather of the season, a breathtaking waterfront venue, and a couple whose love radiated joy, every moment was picture-perfect. From Mary’s morning preparations surrounded by loved ones to the stunning first look near the docks, the anticipation built beautifully throughout the day.

Their sun-drenched ceremony by the river was filled with heartfelt vows before they celebrated with an outdoor cocktail hour overlooking the water. As the reception unfolded, guests were treated to a night of elegance, laughter, and an unforgettable personal touch—Matt, a chef, surprising everyone by passing out caviar on the dance floor. It was a wedding that blended timeless romance with personal flair, making it an absolute dream to capture.

One of my favorite moments was Matt and Mary’s first look near the docks. The way Matt’s face lit up when he saw her was pure magic—a moment of love and admiration that perfectly set the tone for their day. The intimate setting made it feel like time stood still, just for them.
