Classic Fall Wedding at Kemper Lakes Golf Club

Traveling together, spending time with families and friends together, dancing the night away together. You might notice a theme and so did I. Lane & Trevor are better together. It became so apparent during their Kemper Lake Golf Club wedding on a beautiful fall day that they loved bringing everyone together with them! I can’t wait to share this day with you all to see if you notice the same!

As I began the day, Lane’s sister had opened up her brand-new home for the getting ready process allowing ample room and comfortability for everyone to move around as needed. As I was listening to the buzz of everyone getting their hair and makeup done, playing with what might be the world’s cutest baby, and at least one parent who was super excited to open their gifts; I photographed the couple’s smaller details. It was here that I got to see a few family heirlooms and thoughtful touches that they would wear for the day.

Before I knew it, it was time to get the day really started with family and friends helping Lane and Trevor get ready in their respective locations until we met at Kemper Lakes Golf Club for their first look. Overlooking their ceremony area, it was an emotional time with all the good feels you could imagine. It’s a moment I would love to photograph again and again and again.

Afterward, we had the fun of photographing portraits of just the two of them, their best people, and their immediate families before the ceremony. Speaking of the ceremony, if you were there, you saw that it was standing room only which I took a the true testament of what an overflow of happiness feels like in real life as people from all the various walks of life came together!

The ceremony was filled with beautiful vows of Lane and Trevor talking about what place they were in when they met, where the journey has gone so far, and of course, how they want their future to go. My all-time favorite photo is the very last one where Lane was throwing her bouquet in the air, Trevor looking laughing. There was something in that moment that felt so right and if you could hear the crowd cheering, you would think you were at a sporting event with the exploding noise.

That same ecstasy carried throughout cocktail hour, their grand entrance, a cake cutting complete with a sword, and a packed dance floor! Again, I can’t wait for you to see it all! Congrats Lane & Trevor!
