As a wedding photographer based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, I am always excited for engagement sessions that allow me to explore so many beautiful locations. Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Grand Haven State Park for Olivia and Drew’s engagement session! This picturesque location on the sandy shores of Lake Michigan provided the perfect backdrop for capturing their love story.

On the day of the shoot, we got really lucky with the weather. A small rainstorm had just ended, leaving the park refreshingly deserted. The post-storm calm gave us a stunning pinky sky, enhancing the romance of Olivia and Drew’s engagement photos! It was as if nature itself had conspired to make their session extraordinary.

Olivia and Drew are such a delightful couple! Their love for each other is evident in every glance, every smile, and every touch. They are getting married at Bay Pointe Woods in Shelbyville, Michigan, just south of Grand Rapids, and I am beyond thrilled to be their wedding photographer. The way they are so visibly content and happy with each other made this engagement session a joyful experience. They were giggly, playful, and so much fun to photograph.
