Downtown Kalamazoo Engagement
The hustle and bustle and 5 kids and work and yet coming all together in love? Yeah, that’s a pretty cool combo when it works well and with Courtney & Adam, it works REALLY well! I had such a joy photographing their family and their downtown Kalamazoo engagement session!
I was really excited when Adam reached out after I photographed his sister’s wedding because I knew that Taylor & Branden had a beautiful wedding day and I remembered Courtney being there to support him in his groomsmen and brother of the bride duties.
We planned out their engagement session for downtown Kalamazoo and typically, when I have a couple with children, I like to incorporate their kids into their engagement session as well. It’s a nice mix of a traditional engagement session about just the two of them while also letting their little ones in on the fun.
These 5 kiddos were so much fun to photograph with their silliness and I have a feeling we might get a mini photoshoot of just them on the wedding day!
After we let the kids go hang out with grandma, it was time for just some time with Courtney and Adam. I was obsessed with their spring outfits because Adam had a pink suit jacket that complimented Courtney’s pink skirt perfectly! It’s always fun to see color incorporated into any engagement session outfit!
As I’ve been learning more about their wedding day, I know that these two will be ready to go on their wedding day and we’ll have an incredible mix of family and friends who are ready to celebrate with them! I can’t wait to photograph these two again at a new venue for me. I’ll see you two again at Vale Street Venue with its rustic charm in Battle Creek, Michigan.
