I seriously love watching the way couples interact with one another. When they just know each other so well that they involuntarily both do a little nose scrunch simultaneously or aren’t afraid of getting a little goofy with one another. I mean, I can pose a couple all day but that doesn’t make it YOU. YOU make the photos and I especially love it when I catch you staring at the other with a little smile on your face. Welcome to Julianne & Zach and their Crystal Mountain wedding day!

As I began the day, Julianne’s smile was lighting up the cottage she and the ladies were getting ready in and I heard that Zach and his groomsmen were having almost too much fun together. It was gearing up to be a spectacular wedding day with the most perfect September weather! Team Hair & Beauty were working in full force and Fresh Coast Floral Co. was on site getting florals arrangements placed. She even had a few extra for me for the flat-lay detail photos!

Once hair and makeup was done, it was time to get the ball really rolling as Julianne, with the help of her mom, got into her wedding dress and Zach got done up in his suit in his cottage. The two had decided they would see each other on a little bridge right in between their two cottages for a more intimate feel and to know they were slightly hidden away from everyone else. It was so wonderful to photograph these two seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day. You see your person every other day but THIS is always so different!

From there, we took a few photos with Zach’s Camaro before heading up to the top of the mountain with their wedding party, and WHAT. A. VIEW!!!!!!! It was the perfect lighting, the best group of people, and it all just seemed magical! As a wedding photographer, you dream of these kinds of moments to have lived one with Julianne & Zach was just spectacular!

After the highs of the mountain view, we got back down to Earth by capturing several family photos and then it was time for their ceremony! Short, super sweet, and right to the point – getting married! I don’t think either of these two looked away from one except to read their vows out and then it was time to just celebrate!

Their tented reception was stunning, the food was amazing, and the dancing was fun! It was so much fun to capture everything and I’m sure you’ll love it too! I know I’ve already been rambling a bit too much here and you’re excited to get to the photos themselves so enjoy! Congrats you two!!!
