Country Club Wedding | Logan & Evan - Stephanie Parshall Photography

Coming to you on the blog today is Logan and Evan’s wedding at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall is that classic country club wedding and is a serious contender for one of the most fun weddings I have ever had the chance to not only photograph, but to also attend.

From their extremely fun and sweet engagement session at Southern Exposure to around 12pm this Saturday, I had been excited for their big day! When Logan and her bridesmaids arrived after getting their hair and makeup done, it was a non-stop stream of laughing, dancing and merrymaking all centered around keeping Logan’s nerves and excitement at bay before she would see Evan for their First Look. (Do people say “merrymaking” still? If not, this wedding is def bringing it back)!

These two lovebirds met while Logan and Evan’s sister Emily were playing on the same volleyball team and have clearly been having the time of their lives ever since. And, as you’d expect, the bridesmaids and groomsmen were just as much fun. I mean, there are wedding parties… and then there are wedding PARTIES. There were no shortage of cheers ringing in golfers ears as we shouted “ICE CREAM” for the flower girls or laughter as we moved 14 people (15 if you include me) on golf carts across the 18^th hole to get photos in front of the newly resorted fountain.

While there were so many smiles throughout the day, were some genuinely sweet moments too filled with moving tears. I loved when Logan and her dad embraced in a big hug during their father/daughter dance during the reception and invited all married couples to join them on the dance floor. I also loved hearing just how nervous both Evan and Logan were to see one another for the first time that day as they hardly spend that much time apart and I kept hearing Logan say how handsome Evan was while Evan equally would talk about how gorgeous Logan was. They were telling anyone and everyone who would listen to them praise each other.

This all just goes to show that fun and love go together really, really well. Congrats again, Logan and Evan, and is it too much to ask that you put me on the invite list for any of your future get-togethers…? Ha!
