The day began with the groom, Ben, relaxing and gearing up for a cornhole game with his groomsmen, while Alysa and her bridesmaids danced joyfully to music. Everything flowed seamlessly from the start, and I jumped right into capturing the charming details of their rings and invitations.
Alysa looked breathtaking in her gown from Becker’s Bridal. She shared an emotional first look with her bridesmaids and dad, with her friends bursting with excitement and her dad tearing up as he realized his firstborn was getting married. This set the perfect scene for Alysa and Ben’s first look.
Ben was eagerly anticipating this moment, and seeing Alysa in her stunning wedding dress took his breath away. Tears flowed freely as everyone witnessed the depth of their emotions. These are the moments that truly highlight the beauty of a wedding day.
We snuck away to a secluded lakeside spot for some intimate portraits of just the two of them before returning to the festivities for more photos with their awesome wedding party before their ceremony.
You’d think the tears would have stopped after their first look, but as Ben and Alysa exchanged their vows during their ceremony, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. Their wedding party, family, and guests were all moved by the sincerity and love in their words. These are the moments that make wedding photography so rewarding!
The ceremony concluded, but the celebration was just getting started. With perfect toasts, Luxx Entertainment keeping the dance floor alive, and a crowd that knew how to party, the festivities never seemed to end.
